Man found dead in Bandipora's doban forests | KNO

Bandipora, June 01 (KNO) : A young man who had gone missing on Friday afternoon in Doban onagam village of North Kashmir's Bandipora district was found dead in upeer reaches of douban area of district on Saturday. A source told KNO that Chachee Chowan son of Rajwali Chowan, a resident of Doban village had gone to the nearby forest yesterday afternoon to collect firewood but didn’t return home. "His family members and locals started a search and his body was found in the upper reaches of douban area," sources told KNO. Meanwhile an official said that Chachee might had fallen from a tree and died on the spot. “We have recorded statement of the locals and family members of the deceased and started investigation,” the official told KNO. The body was handed over to his relatives after completing legal formalities.(KNO)
